Just arrived from Newtown, CT, beginning a new, exciting life in Rotonda West, FL. Marketing & Selling Real Estate since 1992, and a resident of Newtown since 1997, I have proudly served as President and Realtor of the Year for the Newtown Board of Realtors in 2015-2016, and also have served on the CT Realtors Legislative Committee and a Director on the Board. My community involvement has included Canine Advocates, supporting our local animal shelter. I also enjoyed rallying the local Realtors to support the Lion's Club project, The Pootatuck Duck Race! As a member of WIN, Women Involved in Newtown, I have made new friends and have enjoyed projects such as Thanksgiving and Easter Baskets for those in need in the community.
Born and raised in Stamford, CT, I started my Real Estate career in 1992 with William Pitt Real Estate. In 1995-1997, after getting my broker's licence, I started her own company, "Barbara Frey Real Estate". After moving to Newtown, CT in 1997, I continued my Real Estate career as part of "The High Energy Team" at William Pitt Sotheby's, Prudential Ct Realty, and William Raveis Real Estate. In 2011, with great enthusiasm and focus I ambitiously, once again, started my own boutique-style company, offering custom marketing, with all the bells and whistles! I pride myself on strong communication with my clients. Then, in 2018, as Broker-Associate, along with my team, we merged with Berkshire Hathaway Home Services NE as the Barbara Frey Group earning the Chairman's Circle award, as top 2% in the company.
Married to Gary Frey Sr, Realtor, since 1972, we have three children, Tracey Cleri and Gary Frey, Jr of CT, and Tara Farrell in Arizona. Grandchildren include Austin James, Chloe & Claudia Cleri & Luna Frey. When we have time, we enjoy working and playing with Nala, our white husky.
Now, as residents of Rotonda West, I have joined the Women's Club and husband, Gary plans to join the Lion's Club. In addition to volunteering, we hope to enjoy spending time at the beach & making new friends to play Euchre!
