New law changes take effect on October 1 and new and updated contract forms are being released to address those changes. This webinar will discuss the new law changes and the new and amended forms. Flood Disclosure – NEW FORM – FD-1 Section 689.302, Florida Statutes, passed during the last legislative session, requires all sellers to complete a flood disclosure form to provide certain information to the buyer at or before the time of the execution of a sales contract for residential real property. Florida Realtors’ new Flood Disclosure form may be used by the seller to make the required disclosures. REVISED FORMS- A. Condominium Rider to the Residential Contract For Sale and Purchase – CR – 6x F. Condominium Association Addendum to the Contract for Residential Sale and Purchase – CRSP – 16x The past legislative session also resulted in changes to the required disclosures for sales of condominiums. The revised forms may be used to facilitate these new disclosures, including disclosures related to a unit located in a so-called “condo-tel.”
