3rd Annual Paper Shred & Food Drive Event

Englewood Area Board of REALTORS® will host a post-tax-day drive-through Paper Shred and Food Drive Event on Sat., Apr. 19 from 8am -11am in the office parking lot at 3952 N. Access Rd., Englewood.

In exchange for the shredding service, event volunteers will accept donations of non-perishable food items, baby supplies (including diapers) and cash. All donations collected will benefit the St. David’s Jubilee Center in Englewood in support of area residents and children who are experiencing food insecurity and/or those who lack necessities.

Shredding services are being provided by Stericycle and boast a state-of-the-art chain of custody for shreddables, ensuring that 100% of all paper is ground and disposed of securely. Participants may bring up to four banker-sized boxes of material to be processed.

The event is being organized by Englewood Area Board of REALTORS® Community Outreach Committee, whose goal is to organize projects to benefit the local community.

Representatives from Hughes Exterminators, Lake Michigan Credit Union, Suncoast Title One Mortgage & Closings, SWFL Home Inspections – local Affiliates of the Board who are underwriting the event – will also be on hand to greet patrons and to hand out promotional swag.
